Daytona bound…

We left Ocean Club Marina at 8:15 a.m  – and arrived at Halifax Harbor Marina in Daytona at 5:00 p.m.  Jeff had to work most of the day so I had the Captain’s duties.  It was a very long day!  I thought it would take about six hours but I am quickly learning that although we can determine the nautical miles between destinations, it is difficult to plan the time it will take for several reasons:  The tide can be running against you,  there may be bridges that will need to be opened before we can pass through, boat traffic as well as slow no-wake zones all make it difficult.  We are learning these lessons as we go.
